Let’s play board games and have fun in English!
Learning English doesn’t mean sitting at a desk with your nose in a book. Learning a new language is something active, lively, enjoyable, pleasant, amusing. In this post we would like to suggest the use of board games to improve your English and, first and foremost, have fun.
There’s no question that board games are one of the best developmental tool for children of all ages. Some of them are created to be educational while teach the players and others are made just to be fun.
Kids enjoy playing them. Board games are opportunities for learning new words; teach letters, spelling and matching skills. Besides, children develop social skills such as communicating verbally, sharing and cooperation, waiting, taking turns and enjoying interactions with others while they play.
Don’t hesitate! Have a get-together and play whatever you want: Taboo, Dominoes, Bingo with numbers or letters, Scattergories, Monopoly, Trivial; Chess or Game of the Goose. Take your time and play.
Don’t be lazy! Turn off the TV and get cozy with some board games and practice your English.
